  3.     Fixing Sharing Violations with NetTalk for Windows
  4.     --------------------------------------------------

  6.     If you encounter sharing violations when using NetTalk for Windows, 
  7.     the .EXE and .DLL file attributes must be flagged to read-only. To do 
  8.     this, have all users exit NetTalk for Windows (by closing the icon). 
  9.     The read-only attributes can then be set either in Windows File 
  10.     Manager or in DOS. 
  11.  
  12.     To set the attributes in Windows File Manager, bring up File Manager 
  13.     and switch to the NetTalk installation directory. Now click on 'File' 
  14.     and select 'Select Files...'. At the file name entry box, type *.EXE 
  15.     and press Enter or click on 'Select'. Now back at the file name 
  16.     entry, type *.DLL, press Enter or click on 'Select', and then click 
  17.     on 'Close'. Now click on 'File' again and select 'Properties...'. 
  18.     Click the 'Read Only' box so it has a check or X in it. The boxes 
  19.     'Hidden' and 'System' should be unchecked. Now press Enter or click 
  20.     on 'Ok'.

  22.     To set the attribute in DOS, change the current directory to the 
  23.     NetTalk installation directory. Now type ATTRIB +R *.EXE (enter). 
  24.     Then type ATTRIB +R *.DLL (enter).

  26.     The read-only attribute should now allow multi-user execution within 
  27.     Windows.
